     Hi Diane — Thanks :-). The stop sign presented itself at the moment when I was most feeling the hurt at how very burned those hills are, yet again, and when I’d gotten physically closer to them than I had since before this new fire. So it felt appropriately symbolic, and I’m glad you caught the mini-theme. When will more of us manage to stop acting as though the only things that matter are those which we directly experience in the here and now, and return to acting as small pieces toward broader global common good…
