County Views.111

OK, first time you’ll see county views from Kern County. When one drives from the bay area to LA, as I did in early June, one passes through much of Kern County. This was a stop for lunch at some picnic tables in a park close to the 5 Freeway just before it enters LA County. Sending rainy and no-burn thoughts to all of CA at the moment…

    Thanks, Paul. I have to admit, I am hazy on where that is. Is it the rest stop just before the Frazier Mountain turnoff? Nice photos.

    Thanks to Ida, we’re getting some epic rain here in Pittsburgh. Somewhere between 2-4 inches in a single day. Needless to say, the landscape here looks a bit different right now.
