Nevada

Mountains.48

If there’s snow on them in the desert in May, then they’re mountains. 🙂 Probably Utah, but maybe Nevada, still from that SF->Pittsburgh flight in May. Hoping for clear skies en route home to see interesting mountain views (such as this) along the way during my daytime return flights, or we’ll have to let this series go dormant ’til whenever I next get close enough to photograph something I can call a mountain…

From the Air.57

At the top is one last photo looking back at Lake Tahoe, which somehow escaped my attention in the last “From the Air” entry which was meant to get us from California fully across the Sierra Nevadas and into the state of Nevada. The gallery above the and image below show you more of that Nevada landscape including the easily identifiable Walker Lake. All from the my SF to Pittsburgh flight in early May.

Lake Living.26

Lake Tahoe, surrounded by snow-capped Sierra Nevada peaks as our plane crossed that first major mountain range on our flight from SF to Pittsburgh on May 3rd. More Lake Living coming soon, as I’ve recently had the chance to spend with Steve and other friends on Lake Geneva, which first inspired this series.
