So a map search for Jenner Headlands Preserve. It opened to the public recently, although atm it again says permanently closed…which I hope means until movements resume some normality.
Times like these somehow turn our eyes to the beauty of nature. This reminds me of a poem by Li Po (Tang dynasty) translated as “The country is destroyed but the mountains and rivers remain.” One line describes how the natural critterss are happy as ever, but when a bird breaks the silence, the human observer is startled out of his daze.
Hi Paul, I love this photo! Where is it exactly? It reminds me a lot of Cape Henlopen State Park in Delaware, though not exactly like it.
