  1. Hard actually to “like” this when people are such slobs. Can’t they throw their masks in a trash can?

    • I must admit, when I opened the photo of the clean, nearly-unused blue mask on the straw-like dry grass at the trailhead just off the street, I thought “that looks nearly like a studio shot, and strangely pleasing in a purely visual way.” But yes, errant masks seem to be the cigarette butts of our current era: dropped or blown away here there and anywhere to remind us all that we’re in the midst of a global pandemic. Yuck. But I find myself oddly compelled to chronicle them when I see them…

  2. Well it’s good that you’re chronicling this. I have a feeling not longer after it’s all over (hopefully soon!) it’ll all seem fairly unreal.

    Paul, I completely agree that the blue mask on the straw looks like a studio shot! I was very, very impressed. Wonderful framing.
