Bridges.6
Oops, somehow I skipped this lovely new series when I ran through the “6” set, so now I need to catch up. Since we’ve shown you bridges in Paris and Berlin so far in this series, I’m home to Amsterdam for this first catch-up post, a lovely pedestrian bridge (bikes also, but the paths to the left side there aren’t paved and do wind a fair bit through a surprisingly wild patch of parkland) the park across the street from me.
(so much world, so little time....)

Hey Gretchen – Wow, that’s a HUGE change of temperature from yesterday to today! And yikes, that must have been unbearable yesterday. Yeah – the bridge and canal in that photo are on the far side of the lake that I’ve been showing a lot. The lake is sloterplas, and the park that surrounds it is sloterpark, which has a lovely rather wild side on the far side from where I live, so when I do my walks around the lake I’ll sometimes wander a bit further west into the wooded area in that part. Urban Garden.216 was the last time I showed a few of those paths on here – if you’re in “full view” mode, then tap the “sloterpark” tag and you’ll see a few more from that side. Stay cool 🙂
