Eek, Steve, you’re determined to out me as someone sometimes posts “daily” photos that were not taken on the day of posting … 😦 This photo was taken before even the lightning complex fires started, a weekend in early August when I spent much of an afternoon at the coast with friends. In fat, in order to keep up with the concept of posting daily, I tend to have several days “in the can” at any moment, as it were; and I just slip in a new sequence when events overtake me. You’ll start seeing more of these photos in coming days and weeks. I do have smoke photos that i’ll mix in occasionally, but too much smoke would just get depressing, wouldn’t it? 🙂 Hugs – Paul
Is that haze or fog or something else? Is it what I think it might be?

Yes, too much smoke would indeed be depressing. I’m glad this was natural.
