Thanks, John. That particular building is I think called the “painted triclinium,” where triclinium is an archeological term for tomb…I believe. In fact I *think* all those colors are just natural to the rock, although they may have been painted and some of the paint may have stayed for 2000 years. It’s up away from the primary path through the valley floor, and not an especially trumpeted location, but I found it quite remarkable. More photos to come soon of this building 🙂
