Do you imagine the acorns were set like that by a human? I just wonder if some animal may arrange them as so.

Howard and I asked each other the same question when we saw it. We agreed that they were almost certainly arranged, and we assumed it was a human. I suppose a squirrel could have done it, but I think they’d be more likely to hide them somewhere less visible. I decided that, since it was not art I myself had created, it was fair to photograph it and present it as found reality :-).
