At last I made it back to a concert hall: the first time since 29 February 2020 :-). Sitting in that hall I actually cried a bit to realize how much I’d missed this, then spent a good part of the concert thinking how much Covid has taken from us all.
OK, first time you’ll see county views from Kern County. When one drives from the bay area to LA, as I did in early June, one passes through much of Kern County. This was a stop for lunch at some picnic tables in a park close to the 5 Freeway just before it enters LA County. Sending rainy and no-burn thoughts to all of CA at the moment…
