Bangkok, and me in BKK to remind myself I was actually there at the start of this latest trip. Was too busy in Hong Kong to take any photos worth posting, and in BKK to take more than these on my first evening…such is work travel as opposed to the lovely vacation weeks in CA and TX 🙂
Back to Fort Ross State Historic Park in my old home county of Sonoma. This time we visited during the early stages of a school overnight trip, which added to the fun.

I created a tag called “graffiti art” years ago, I think when I visited Melbourne for the Australian Open in 2009. Recent days have given me opportunity to appreciate the differences between graffiti (art) styles in Amsterdam and SF – wait for some of my mural photos taken on my last morning in SF, and also for some I believe I got while I was up Eureka. 🙂
Yes, we’re mixing it up for the coming weeks, as I catch up with photos taken during my recent extended trips out of Amsterdam, as well as some that I took during my hiatus in NL and elsewhere. This post celebrates the glorious wildflowers we saw in Texas :-).
So yes, we landed early Tuesday in Amsterdam. While I was away, the crocuses faded, the leaves remained absent from the trees (though many are strongly in bud by now), and as you see in these photos taken while walking to stay awake, the tulips are coming into their season.
We’re at the airport as I set this post up – final views of the GGB taken yesterday (below) and a week ago (above) while visiting. This’ll publish while I’m in the air, early Tuesday Amsterdam time, late Monday SF time. Cheers ’til next we see each other, folks 🙂
